Al-Qaeda operating in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – US Media

Although it is not known yet who is responsible for Monday’s heinous bombings at the Boston Marathon that killed three and injured more than 100 people, a source within Iranian intelligence services told World Net Daily the Islamic regime was behind them and to look for trails through Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
World Net Daily reported that the source said the bombs were planted near the end of the race so that the horrific images of the blasts would be captured by all the media there and be replayed over and over throughout the world.A senior commander of the Islamic regime had warned less than two months ago that terrorism was coming to America.

“If the people of America and Europe do not confront the aggressive policies of their governments, they cannot then remain far from the possible future events (terror attacks),” the regime’s armed forces deputy chief of staff, Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri, said in a Feb. 23 interview with Fars News Agency, a media outlet run by the Revolutionary Guards. “Al-Qaida groups and other services which operate for the interests of America (in Syria) will soon change the region of their operations and thereafter create new problems for America and Europe.”

Website accused of conspiracy to create dispute between Tamil minister and Sri Lankan government

The Sri Lankan government says that a website is trying to create a rift between a minority Tamil Minister and the government by publishing false information. Director General of the Media Centre for National Security Lakshman Hulugalla said that certain media are publishing false information with the objective of creating clashes between the party of Livestock and Rural Community Development Minister Arumugam Thondaman and the government.

Addressing a press briefing ,Mr. Hulugalla said that it is clear that the intention of publishing photographs and news items pertaining to the Defense Secretary in the Lanka E News Web site is to create a dispute between the upcountry Tamil Minister and the government. The website has reportedly used a photograph appeared in the website of the Ministry of Defence in the year 2008, and has attempted to give the impression that the Defence Secretary made a statement regarding Minister Thondaman.

Mr. Hulugalla further said that the person behind this act is a politician sacked from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party and currently organizing the propaganda campaign of the UNP.
